fancy a game of pinball?

Did you know the Three Tuns has 3 of the best pinball machines
so come on what you waiting for, be careful though
with free drinks up for grabs for the best players
it can get competitive

It's our fifth anniversary on January 27th and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the people responsible for making The Three Tuns one of the premier live music venues in the north east. First and foremost I'd like to thank my partner Rachael who has had to suffer the highs and lows that come with running what is undoubtedly one of the more unusual watering holes. My various partners over the years Mick, Moyley and Sarah but especially Lynn who did more than anyone to help create our unique atmosphere and my good friends in the local music scene namely Riffs, Jem Caisley, Cathy and all the wonderful bands too many to mention who have helped us stand out in a crowded market. A special mention to 1977, Parallel Lines, The Happy Cats, FM, Black Rose, Grumpies, Revolutionaires, Heavy Load, New Age Jam and Blue Diamonds who have all played the Tuns more than 10 times. I'm especially looking forward to 2008 for the amount of new bands we have booked namely, Bullet, Stan, Hellfyre and King Swan amongst others. We intend booking some high profile names too as always and as well as Tenpole Tudor and 999 for 2008 we are in negotiation with Budgie and Limehouse Lizzy amongst others. I'd like to mention too some of our locals who contribute so much to what the Tuns has become but they're all too shy and retiring but it's enough to say we couldn't have done it without you guys. Some of the highlights of last year continue to go from strength to strength namely our Poker nights and our quiz both of which seem to get more popular week by week and surely Ian hosts the north east' most popular buskers night every Wednesday. Thanks to you our customers for helping us stay open because without you we're nothing and we will never forget that.......
